Christian Stark,
The Winemaker

Christian has been making wine for over a decade and seriously drinking it for much longer.

Much of what Christian is as a winemaker was born out of who he is as a CHEF. After graduating from the California Culinary Academy, he realized that his passion lay in CREATING WINE to COMPLIMENT FOOD.

His personal winemaking style can be described as LOCAVORE VINTNER. He believes in sourcing grapes from unique sites that give his wine a true sense of place.

Kerstin Krall Walz,
Make-It-Happen Maker

Kerstin devised her exit strategy from the fast-paced world of Madison Avenue ADVERTISING by studying wine. After five years of intense study, she earned a DIPLOMA IN WINE STUDIES from London’s Wine & Spirits Education Trust.

At Stark Wine, Kerstin has combined her love of advertising and marketing skills with her wine knowledge. She CREATED the IDEAS behind Stark Thirst and Stark Wild.

Kerstin has dedicated herself to growing Stark Wine and being a part of solving the water crisis.

Jen Stark,
Wine Drinker Relations

Jen and Christian are married (no they didn’t meet on the job!) It’s not surprising that Jen has helped run Stark Wine for the last decade.

Jen happens to be one of those people who makes ENTERTAINING and HOSPITALITY look effortless, so it’s only natural that Jen is the lead in the Stark Wine tasting room, GARAGISTE HEALDSBURG.
