Each lot of Stark Wine is meticulously made with minimal intervention using both traditional methods and modern equipment. This way the grapes' true characteristics can be tasted and enjoyed in the final wines.

All wines are made in Healdsburg, in the heart of Sonoma County.

Stark Wine is implementing sustainable processes in three main areas: water, farming and packaging.

• Using steam cleaning techniques versus conventional 'wash out' methods can save an astounding 99% of water that usually just goes down the drain.
• Securing long-term contracts with farmers gives Stark Wine more control over sustainable practices such as dry farming, organic sprays and other bio-friendly tactics such as bats for insect control.
• Packaging the wine in bottles made from recycled glass made in the USA that is 1/3 lighter than conventional bottles. This means a smaller environmental footprint.
